Hat Quality Inspection Guide

Clothing accessories serve not only an aesthetic role in completing a style, but also functional purposes such as warmth, protection and everyday convenience. Review the key inspection points classified by wearing area and intended use.

Shape and Symmetry

Balance and stability are checked when the hat is placed on a dedicated head form.
  • Visor level: Confirm that the front visor is not tilted or distorted
  • Crown symmetry: Check whether the centre line and the visor centre are aligned
  • Top button: Confirm that the top button is fixed precisely at the centre

Embroidery and Printing Quality

As the logo is highly visible on the front, visual precision is essential.
  • Embroidery density: Check for base fabric show-through and tangled threads
  • Position/level: Measure the specified height and any left-right deviation
  • Reverse-side finish: Inspect inner thread trimming and possible discomfort

Interior Finish and Wearability

  • Sweatband: Check that the forehead-contact band is stitched smoothly
  • Taping: Inspect secure attachment of the inner panel-joining tape
  • Size adjuster: Test Velcro or snapback operation and any fabric damage

Material and Accessory Defects

  • Visor core: Check the internal plastic core for breakage or bending
  • Eyelets: Inspect air-hole finishing for cleanliness and sharp edges
  • Colour variation: Conduct a full inspection for subtle shade differences between panels
