Socks Quality Inspection Guide

Clothing accessories serve not only an aesthetic role in completing a style, but also functional purposes such as warmth, protection and everyday convenience. Review the key inspection points classified by wearing area and intended use.

Size and Elasticity Check

Stretch and recovery are key quality indicators for socks.
  • Flat measurement: Measure foot length and height without stretching the product
  • Maximum stretch measurement: Confirm recovery after the sock has been stretched
  • Pair deviation: Check that left-right length and width differences remain within 0.5 cm

Appearance and Knitting Quality

  • Knitting defects: Check for dropped stitches or holes
  • Mixed yarn and contamination: Inspect for other-colour yarn contamination and machine oil stains
  • Colour difference: Conduct a full inspection for subtle shade differences by section

Interior Finish and Toe Seam

Seams that may cause discomfort during wear are checked carefully.
  • Toe closing: Inspect the thickness and protrusion of the toe seam
  • Thread trimming: Check long loose threads and embroidery finishing after turning the sock inside out
  • Band tension: Confirm that ankle elastic maintains appropriate tension

Functionality and Safety

  • Anti-slip function: Check adhesion and wash fastness of silicone grips on the sole
  • Full needle detection: Inspect all products for residual metal foreign matter, including broken needles
